WALMSLEY, ROSS CLIFFORD ALLEN (Dobber) -
With loved ones by his side, Ross passed away peacefully at Moira Place Long Term Care Home, Tweed in the early hours of Monday, November 25, 2019. Dear son of the late James and Blanche Walmsley. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 49 years, Diane (nee Rikley). He will be sadly missed by his son Jason (Jennifer) and his grandchildren, Justin, Alison, and Nathan, whom he cherished. He will also be dearly missed by his companion, Barbara Hiscock. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and former colleagues. Ross was predeceased by his brothers Ronald (Betty), Ramon, and Douglas, and sister Phyllis (Gordon). Survived by sister-in-law Martha. Ross was a well-respected principal with the Hastings County Board of Education for 34 years. Friends and family are invited to attend visitation at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) on Thursday, November 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, November 29th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Belleville Cemetery.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Moira Place Long Term Care Home and Quinte Gardens Retirement Residence for their professionalism and compassion shown both to Ross and the family over the past few months.
