Obituary for Marguerite Audrie O'Neill

O'NEILL, Marguerite Audrey (May 23, 1933 - August 19, 2019) At Trenton Memorial Hospital Audrey completed her journey. Audrey is predeceased by her parents Leo and and Marguerite (Bulger) O'Neill, her sister Noreen O'Neill (Arnold Day), as well as, her aunt and uncle, Nora and Gabriel McDonald. Audrey is survived by the daughters of Leo and Nellie O'Neill: Patricia, Celine, Bernadette, Leona and many cousins. During the first days of Audrey's life her mother passed away and Audrey was welcomed into the family of her maternal aunt, Nora McDonald. Audrey grew up in Lansdowne, Ontario and as an adult moved to Trenton where she has resided for the past sixty years. Audrey called Trenton her home and pursued a career in the food processing industry and provided domestic assistance to many throughout the years. Audrey's work ethic was evident as she pursued her goals and demonstrated a particular skill in sewing, knitting, and arts and crafts. Audrey was a member of the Trenton Lawn Bowling Association for many years. Audrey was a faithful member of the parish community of Saint Peter-in-Chains Catholic Church in Trenton. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Barnaby;s Catholic Church, Brewers Mills on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 12noon. Father Bob Masters presiding. Interment to follow in Saint Barnaby's Cemetery. Gratitude is extended to the Community Care Co-ordinator and staff of the South East LHIN, the staff and volunteers of the Victorian Order of Nurses, The Smile Program and Quinte Hospice who provided assistance to Audrey. The care provided to Audrey by Dr. K. Schneider and the staff of the Emergency Department of the Trenton Memorial Hospital ensured comfort and support for Audrey. Appreciation is extended to Mr. Chris Foreman of the Rushnell Funeral Home and to Mr. Bert Garrett for assistance.
