Obituary for Lois Colleen Jackson (Reid)
JACKSON, LOIS COLLEEN -
Peacefully entered into rest on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at the Belleville General Hospital. Lois Jackson of the Manor on Loyalist Parkway, Picton and formerly of Roslin died at the age of 78. She was the daughter of the late Lewis & Elizabeth Reid and was the wife of the late Ronald Jackson. Lois was the cherished mother of Kevin of Windsor, Rhonda Stoliker (Peter) of Plainfield, Angela Cormier (Mike) of Stockdale, Ron (Kelly) of Burlington and Rick (Tawny) of Belleville. She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren. Lois is survived by her sister Vera Wannamaker (Everett) and her brother Frank Reid (Jean) and her sister in law Sandy Reid. She is predeceased by her siblings Ruby Read (late Art), Shirley Bamford (late Donald), Bernice Lowe and Allan Reid. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Lois' wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). A Graveside Service will be held in the family plot at Victoria Cemetery, Plainfield on Wednesday, October 9th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, donations in Lois’ memory to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
