WWII Navy Veteran
Past Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Deseronto – Br#280
Passed away at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday, September 13th, 2019. John Webster, formerly of Hickory Grove, Belleville, died at the age of 93. He was the son of the late John & Lillian Webster. Much loved husband to Dorothy Jean (nee Howard). He will be sadly missed by his children Wendy Jeffrey (Ross) of Napanee, Sue Caddick (Larry) of Corbyville, Penny Lorimer (Del) of Belleville and John Webster (Claire) of Windsor. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren, John is predeceased by grandson Ian, and granddaughter Wendy. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his sisters Marjorie, Ruby, Ethel, Dorothy and his brother Robert. Visitation will be held at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Friday September 20th 2019 at 12 noon. Reception to follow. John will be laid to rest alongside his parents at Deseronto Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to either the Last Post Fund or the Belleville General Hospital Foundation are appreciated by the family.
