John Theodorou, loving brother and son, passed away at the age of 53 on Saturday, July 27th, 2019. John was born on November 12th, 1965 in Belleville, Ontario to Athena and Timothy Theodorou. He graduated from Quinte Secondary School in 1985, and studied electrical engineering at Loyalist College. Known for his kind and gentle spirit, John worked alongside his father in electronics repair, and had a gift for connecting with people. He greeted everyone with his brilliant smile, and spread love and joy wherever he went.

John had a passion for hockey, and was an avid Leaf’s fan. He also enjoyed photography, bird watching, and staying atop of current affairs. John displayed remarkable courage in the face of adversity, and was a source of love and strength for all who knew him. He shared a special bond with his mother, father and sister who he cherished, and with whom he enjoyed many beautiful adventures. John is survived by his parents Tim and Athena Theodorou, his sister Maria Theodorou, several uncles, aunts, and cousins all of whom he loved dearly. Special thanks to his cousins Anna, John and Louie Koutsoumbis, Denise and Peter Zouganelis, and his godparents Flora and Ted Papadopoulos for their unwavering love and support. He also leaves behind good friends Robert and Lori Bremner, Paul and Pat Papke, and Peter Ellis. He will be sorely missed by all.

John was laid to rest at the Belleville Cemetery on August 1st, 2019. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Christian Children’s Fund, World Vision Canada, or Charity Water (www.charitywater.org).
