Obituary for Joan Jessie Cousens (Wells)
COUSENS, JOAN JESSIE -
Peacefully entered into rest at Moira Place Long Term Home, Tweed on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019. Joan Cousens (nee Wells) formerly of Belleville died at the age of 96. She was the daughter of the late Louis & Jessie Wells (nee Allday) and wife of the late Tom Cousens. Joan was the loving mother of Pauline Kasuntch (Bob) of Belleville, Janet Cousens of Edmonton, Robert (Bonnie) and Peter all of Belleville. She is predeceased by her son David. Joan will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Doreen Budden (Frank) of England and by her nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stirling Cemetery. If desired, donations to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated by the family.
