Condolence: To Mrs. Roxanne Lloyd, Andy Lloyd and Jessica's family and friends:
I live in southern Louisiana. Until the July 21 Lifetime movie, I was unaware of this horrendous case. Have been reading about Jessica online and wanted to express my heartfelt sympathy.
What a beautiful person she was! The main thought that I, a stranger, have of Jessica is the love that surrounded her throughout her life. Jessica expressed this with poignant words about loving her mother.
I did read that Andy expressed dislike of movie/books and some of the publicity. Understandable, but Jessica's beautiful spirit does rise above all details about the killer. It is wonderful that one is able to read about Jessica and her family and know of the LOVE.

I never met Jess in person, but talked to her on the phone or e-mailed her at least once a week through my job, since she was the person who arranged busing for the students at the school I work at. I didn't realize that Jess lived near Belleville and was related to the Lloyds from Point Anne where I grew up. I just knew we had a connection, and I totally enjoyed working with her... we would talk about how the day (or week) had gone, and make a comment like, "go home and put your feet up, and have a glass of wine" or whatever. You should be so proud of a wonderful daughter / sister / relative / friend who was such a joy to associate with. She is now in a far better place, at peace, where no deranged monsters can hurt her.
