I had the pleasure of working with Janet at Deseronto Public School. She was a genuine kind person, who loved her job and loved all the children that were lucky enough to have her as their teacher. She always had a kind word for all those who worked with her. Janet will be missed by all.

I first met Janet in the residence at York University. We had a lot of fun there. I did not live in Toronto and she often invited me home to visit with her family. These were very enjoyable times.
One summer, we were in student housing together with another friend. We made new friends there and I learned to play bridge. We had many happy times together.
In later years, Janet took the lead in reunions of old friends when we had moved to other communities and were busy with work and families. We enjoyed these times spent together.
