KANE, Gwen Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa on Thursday, August 29th, 2019, in her 92nd year. Loving daughter of the late Robert and Emma Crawford. Beloved wife of the late Ted Ashby. Dear mother of Robert Kane (Rosemary Levey), and the late Patti Hughes (late Richard). Also remembered by Patricia Kane and Kay Crawford. Devoted grandma to Jason Kane (Rachel), Ian Hughes (Venice), Ryan Kane, Jill Gerhart (Ryan), and GG to Brooke, Mack, Ethan, and Luke. Predeceased by brother Gerald Crawford. A graveside service will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Frankford at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Arthitis Society would be appreciated.
