ESKEROD, George Christian – of Batawa, passed away peacefully at the Westlake Terrace Long Term Care Facility on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 at the age of 85. Son of the late Christian and Anne Eskerod (nee Palmer). Beloved and cherished husband of Pauline Eskerod (nee Blakley). Loving and devoted father to Tim Eskerod (Donna) of Brighton, Darlene Balcon (Bruce) of Seeley’s Bay, and Linda Gray (Brock) of Napanee. Survived by brother Gary Eskerod (Dorina) of Kingston and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George was pre-deceased by his brothers Richard “Dick” and Grant Eskerod (late Elizabeth). In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Frankford on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held in the Church Hall at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Frankford immediately following at 2:00 p.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
