COAKLEY, E. W. (Bill) Peacefully at home on Friday, November 15th, 2019, at the age of 78. Son of Sidney and Glady Coakley. Born in Fairview, Nova Scotia on August 6, 1941. Cherished husband of Mary (nee Andersen). Dear father of Krista Coakley (Dean Marshall). Predeceased by son Jasen. Grandfather of Jasmine Strachan and predeceased by grandson Devin Bain. Survived by sisters Sadie Umlah (Don) and Glady Burke, brothers Allan (Pat), John (Elaine), and Jim. Predeceased by brother Avery, Howard, Doug, Robert, Ken; sisters Lillian and Shirley. Dear brother-in-law of Karen MacDonald and Peter Andersen (Brenda). Survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Bill was a member of the 1st Battalion Canadian Guards. UN Peacekeeper Cyprus, Ceremonial Guard at Parliament Hill Ottawa, and a Bata Shoe and Engineering employee for 38 years.
