McLAREN, Elda Frances peacefully passed away at the Maplewood Manor, Brighton, on Saturday, September 14, 2019, age 103 years. Elda McLaren of Brighton, daughter of the late Earl Leonard and the late Anna (Watson). Beloved wife of the late Rev. Charles Alexander McLaren. Loving mother of Betty-Anne and her husband Jim Chatten of Brighton, and Linda Oliver of Katy, Texas. Predeceased by her sister Erma Lindsay. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Carrie Chatten, Vicki Watson (Jim), Kaitlyn Oliver, Julie Weiler (Mason), and her great-grandchildren, Travis Bird (Celia), Emily Bird, and Owen Watson. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity St. Andrew’s United Church, 56 Prince Edward Street, Brighton, on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11 o’clock. Cremation with interment in Harrowsmith Cemetery at a later date.
