Passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 in her 93rd year with family by her side. Daughter of the late George and Luella Wallace (nee Waldron). Beloved wife of 70 years of J. Orval Thornton. Loving mother of Pamela Curtis (Mike) of Erin, Cheri Davidson (Gary) of Belleville, Tammy Thornton (Paul Hart) of Stouffville, Patti Thornton, Kim Lott (Kevin) and Mickey Thornton (Jim Kammer) all of Belleville. Proud grandmother of Brandon, Tavia, Kristal, Robbie, Jennah, Mitchell and Kirsten. Great grandmother of Meadow. Cremation arrangements have been made with BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL LTD. 68 N. Front St. Belleville (613-968-5080). A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, 39 Everett St. Belleville on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 12-1 p.m. Inurnment Victoria Cemetery, Plainfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Christ Church Building Fund or charity of choice are appreciated.
