COON, Joan Catharine It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan at Crown Ridge Place on Sunday, June 9th, 2019, in her 87th year. Loving daughter of the late Harold and Helen Lewis. Beloved wife of the late Harry Coon (2004). Dear mother to Debbie Ann Van Vaals (Gerry), Michael Allan Coon (Andrea), Kim Arlene Papst (Paul), and Donald James Coon (Tracy). Devoted grandma Joannie to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her great-grandson Scotty. In keeping with Joan's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Harry at White's Cemetery in Bayside. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
