DHAENE, Antonius “Tony” at his home in Brighton on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, age 83 years. Tony Dhaene of Brighton, son of the late Jozef Dhaene and the late Martha (Protzec). Beloved husband of the late Shirley Anne (Clarke). Fondly remembered by his dear friend and companion Durene Swain of Brighton. Loving father of Marianne Griffiths (Chris) of Trenton, Kate Turney (Cameron MacDougall) of Castleton, and Tony Dhaene (Laura) of Kingston. Brother of Peter Dhaene (Brenda) of British Columbia, Joe Dhaene (Sherry) of Wolf Island, and Eddy Dhaene of Port Hope. Sadly missed by his seven grandchildren, one great-granddaugther, and his many nieces and nephews.Tony will be remembered by many for his love of gardening and yard maintenance. His passion was for soccer. Both playing and coaching for many years. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Cremation.
